This review is from: Far Way to Even: starring Freeway Lane and the Twilight Musicians of Golf (Paperback)
J.R. Boleyn's new book, "Far Way to Even" is an insightful mystical tale concerning the origins of humanity written through the metaphors of music and golf, reminiscent to me of novels akin to Douglas Adams and Tom Robbins. It's a multi-level journey of parallel realities focusing on principles of universal synchronicity as told through the eyes of the author and his cohort, David Bowie guitarist, Chuck Hammer, as these two penniless musician's are on a quest to play the world stage with their heroes. It is chock full of puns that any reader with a sense of humor will thoroughly enjoy as Boleyn deftly picks chastity's lock on the gates to Augusta, and the Fairway to Heaven. It's a great read and I especially had my mind blown by the chapters addressing quantum physics and the new modality of time, not to mention that insane golf match between Eve and Father Time. I could have swore I was carrying the bag.
