5.0 out of 5 stars Rated R super author
I have read many Wrestling autobiographies and very few come close to Mick Foley's, yet Adam Copeland on EDGE is right up there. The reason this book is so good is that like Foley, Edge wrote the book himself which makes the experience much more personal and funnier as nothing has been lost in translation by a ghost writer. That is the main problem with other...

3.0 out of 5 stars As good a writer as he is a wrestler...but...
I bought this because it was by Adam "Edge" Copeland, which sounds like `news from the file marked "duh"' but bear with me. When Edge suffered his neck injury in 2003 he wrote a blog for WWE during his recovery, which was hilarious. Even the more `serious' excerpts were witty and clear without being patronising; so when I learned he'd written a "full" book last year...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant man - brilliant read., 4 Dec 2007

This review is from: Adam Copeland on Edge (WWE) (Paperback)
Being a big fan of Edge, I was eager to read this book, and when I did, it didn't disappoint!

Edge takes you through his days on the independant scene in 'winter death tours' across Canada, right up to when he breaks his neck taking a vertical suplex from Kurt Angle in 2004.

The only problem is that this was written during his injury lay-off so does not include his world title reigns. Still, this is a very personal account of his life, his harsh beginning and his fantastic success.

And I can tell you this. Now I know Edge. Fantastic book, go buy now!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, a fantastic biography., 29 Dec 2007

This book is the best auto-biographies i've read and you dont even need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy it. the stories that he writes about are great; wrestling in towns that are at -70C, breaking bones etc. This is a great wrestling auot-bio and it is actually written by adam copeland rather than using ghost writers like Batista and HBK. I cant recommend it enough its just fantastic some proper laugh out loud moments especially with the Hardy's and Christian.

If you are in any doubt about which book to buy this is the one to get by a mile.

5.0 out of 5 stars consider me an Edge Head, 26 Jan 2012
This review is from: Adam Copeland on Edge (WWE) (Paperback)
i bought this book along with a whole host of others from several other wrestlers and i must say that this is the one that stood head and shoulders above the rest as the most interesting and engaging read. many of others were obviously written by someone other than the wrestler but this one was written entirely by Edge, aside from the forward by Mick Foley, and it really shows. the whole book is carefully created to give the best insight possible into Edge's life and the wrestling business. i strongly recommend reading it and cannot wait for a follow up to this now that he has retired.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too little, too soon, 5 May 2013
This review is from: Adam Copeland on Edge (WWE) (Paperback)
Man, this book came way too soon. There's nowhere near enough content to justify the book and there's not a whole lot in it that would make me want to recommend it to anyone other than hardcore Edge fans.

This review is from: Adam Copeland on Edge (WWE) (Paperback)
This book is very average .. it isnt that good but i've read worse. I was disappointed with this book because reading it i felt like there was something missing, as if there was some information that he was keeping back. After the section about his childhood and how he became interested in wrestling in the first place, there isnt anything else about his life outside of wrestling. Even his stories about life on the road are far and few, which is a real shame because the stories that he does mention are usually really funny. (like the story of the party he had in a hotel room with the Hardy's and co). To be honest i read these kinda books to get to know the wrestler better as a person but with this book i didn't find anything out about him that i didn't already know.
I would recommend this to anybody how is a total "Edgehead", but if you arent a die-hard Edge fan then chances are you'll find this boring as hell !

Seen as Edge is my favourite superstar in WWE i thought why not.

ill leave it their but ill tell you one thing this is a MUST BUY for wrestlings fans or someone who just needs a Laugh out Loud book to read.
