If you are an avid reader of Star Trek fiction then this is the definitive guide. It covers every Star Trek fiction book ever published along with covers and publication dates, number of pages etc.

I have to say I was really dissappointed by this book. I was expecting a more detailed book containing a synopsis, plotlines, character, planet and technology information detailed in each novel rather than the authors reminiscences on a book written 20 years ago.

The only redeeming feature was the chronology at the back of the book, which is becoming a prominent part of recent Star Trek books of late.

This could have been an excellent opportunity for a worthwhile 'can't put down' resource, however, I was left wanting more.

For this alone it has been invaluable allowing me to identify those books that I've never read and if that's what you are looking for then look no further.
If you are looking for a good read then this is not for you. It is really a reference book to pick up and put down.
Also, although a good proportion of the books have plots and author interviews this is by no means complete and if that is what you are looking for I wouldn't bother.
