I bought this book for the Media Culture module of my degree. It isn't on any of the recommended book lists, probably because at the time of writing it is very new, but it was a great buy as it covers the concepts and topics required at the level I need. It does what it says on the tin, it is an introduction, so ideal for anyone trying to get to grips quickly with the subject. Best of all for a reference book, the indexing is good, and gives you specific alternatives rather than lots of page numbers to look up. It was definitely a good buy, I recommend you to get it - or ask your library to get it in.Media, Culture and Society: An Introduction
I do media communication and English and i love this book its so handy and helps me no end with my media modules. It is very comprehensive and covers all elements of media topics that are studied at degree level so much so that one of my media lecturers is considering putting it on the reading list!
The product came quickly and in perfect condition. Which is good because I need it for my University course, it is also a good read. I don't agree with some of the things I have read thus far but nonetheless, it is enjoyable.
