5.0 out of 5 stars an indecent proposition
One of my favorite books by Emma Wildes so far. I have now read it three times, yes three times and still find myself smiling when reading. I will not go through the plot as already been done but I would say that the secondary romance was a little harder to believe in. 3.0 out of 5 stars An Indecent Proposition
I have read other Emma Wildes books but I felt I knew the outcome of this one before I was halfway through it.There didn't seem enough depth to it.I enjoyed it up to a point, then got irritated with it.

I will not go through the plot as already been done but I would say that the secondary romance was a little harder to believe in. I found on 2nd and 3rd readings I was skipping this part and concentrating on the Duke and his heroine. However I can still see myself picking up this book again some time down the line.

4.0 out of 5 stars a sensuous read, 21 Oct 2010

(REAL NAME)
everything you could want from a "not too literary" historical romance with plenty of hot sex saved from being merely soft porn by a genuine erotic sensibility. It also helps to have a fairly realistic sense of time and place, not too many modern or american references to jar against the english/regency setting. The best recommendation I can make is that you fall in love with the flawed hero and like and admire the spirited heroine, you know they must end up together but the getting there is a real sensual delight.
