bought this for my 6 year old son who loves to learn about the natural world and its creatures, particulary bees. he loved this book. I too found it quite informative, he was able to read it himself and found it very interesting. looking forward to trying other books in the series

I bought this for my six-year-old grandson who is obsessed with insects and small reptiles. He already had some more sophisticated books on the subject but this was especially suitable as it had a clear diagram of a wasps' nest, and I was taking him an actual wasps' nest which I had cut down from our garden shed.

This book is a welcome addition to our Usborne Beginners collection. Very informative books, but in a very easy to understand way for little ones. All the basic facts you need to know about bees and wasps that will stay in their heads without being overly complicated.

Daddy has beehives and this book was for him to read to his little girl. The book is very good with easy to understand illustrations and photographs and gives a great insight to the life of a bee and wasp. Reccommend it for children from 3yrs.

My grandson loved this, although some of it was too old for him. It is the sort of book you keep and refer to as the child's questions change and mature.

Did not attract my 5 year old son's interest. May suit older kids.
