The book is colourful and my little boy (3 months) would look at the pictures for a few minutes before getting bored. However I'm disappointed by the touch element which I feel could be better - the size of the touch element of each picture compared with the page size is small - and I don't think many babies would notice the change in textures that much because of the size of the fabric bit. I wouldn't buy this again in hindsight for my son until he was a bit older opting for a complete soft page book for 3 month babies which i think are much better. This might be a better option for older babies say from 5/6 months but even then the touch element still lets it down.

Tis is a lovely book for a baby or very young toddler to look at pictures and point at things. Lots to talk about and touch. Usborne books are really lovely and make great presents.

This is a lovely touchy feely books which reads;

Lumpy Crocodile
Squashy Boots
Furry Penguin
Bumpy Strawberry
Sparkly Moon
Shiny Truck
Soft Butterfly
Fluffy Cloud

Each page details a textured part to the corresponding picture for your little one to feel whilst reading. The book is very durable with thick pages to withstand rough handling by your child. It is a lovely book to read with your little one offering a interactive experience which allows them to become part of the story telling. I have not given the book 5 stars due to being a little disappointed with some of the material used not being very engaging.

I loved this book. Its a lovely size for babies and has very cute pictures with different textures and visuals on each page. Each page is very sturdy and the book is still in a lovely conditions which is more than can be said for some of his other books. My son really enjoyed it and it was very handy to put in a bag to get out at restaurants or relatives houses if he was becoming a little fussy.

This attractive, chunky board book is a good size for babies, with rounded corners and sturdy pages. The images are bright and colourful with interesting textures. Unfortunately, the book's design lets it down. The pictures have all left impressions on the opposite pages and some pages were stuck together when I first opened the book. The red colour from the strawberry has left marks on the penguin's white face and the penguin's fur comes off when my daughter touches it. All in all, a great idea, but the final product is disappointing.

This is a great book, which my daughter loves and has taken to turning the pages to find the pictures she likes. The only down side was that it must have been so tightly packaged that there are indents from other pages throughout it - so you can see the shapes of the pages to come.

I was happy with this although one page which I think was a penguin ( can't remember as it's now wrapped) let material flake off, it's like fibres (only way to describe) which come away from the book so I will not let my little one look at this alone! Apart from this I'm very happy

I thought that this book would be interesting to our 4 month old son, however, it has been only a few days that he has started to really enjoy touching and "reading" it. He is 10 months old now and I am definitely buying the rest of the books of the same line! he loves it!
