Some nice recipes but all for FOUR people? *gets calculator and scales out*
on 4 January 2016
Some nice recipes - Saag Paneer etc - though there is also a lot of bulking up with the sort of filler that many recipe books use to fill space. We already know that a food processor is useful for er, processing food, and also that a freezer will keep a bag of spinach fresh. We know that you can buy spices singly or ready-mixed.
More significant, though, is that many of these recipes are for *four* people. So for instance, the smoothie recipe which starts the book 'serves 4'. If four of you in the same household are doing the diet, then marvellous - if not, then how are you going to use 1/4 of an avocado, which doesn't keep well? Even if the author assumed that you are doing the diet with your partner, which is possible, she could have given the quantities for 2. As it is, I have to do a fair bit of re-thinking to make these recipes work for one - work which the author should really have done.
