Intelligently written, self effacing account of Millars rollercoaster career on the professional circuit. One of the most readable books on cycling.

An excellent read for the perils that come with top class cycling, good in depth story, good highs and demoralising lows, a must for ALL sports fans

An absolutely brilliant book for anyone, especially those with even a passing interest in the Tour de France. Millar is an honest and blunt writer.

A balanced and rare look into doping from the dopers perspective. Unapologetic and candid it tells us like it was and hopefully rarely any more is.

A good honest account of what drives people to dope in sport.

Less naming of people but a better story than the Tyler Hamilton book.

Fantastic book, a very open and honest account into the world of pressiobal cycling and indeed David' Millars challenges throughout his career.

Could not put it down. Very open and up front. Brilliant. With the Lance factory it really opens your eyes to the past cold side of the sport.

Odd looking at races and moments in races that I was at from the riders perspective. Very well written and personal story. Well worth a read.

Oh dear! This book is mine and I have not got around to reading it yet - and he is retiring this year - I had better get down to reading it!
