Hmm the evil Christian rears his head again sending folks off to alien tortures - though quite how personal hell comes from alien particles is beyond me. Another torchwood tale that rushes on but doesnt hold that much water when you think of it. Nice to see more of the love story unfolding between jack and ianto as the back story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good, 17 May 2010

I was pleasantly surprised by this audiobook. Eve Myles's reading keeps the reader interested, and I find the way she does the voices of the different characters quite funny (in a good way). The story is pacy, nad has a couple of interesting twists and turns.

A creepy story that is fairly easy to understand and well read by Eve Myles.

A man gets into the back of a taxi after a drunken night out with friends, whilst slagging off his clingy 'mate' who's got into the taxi with him. The driver overhears the man's words and decides that a 'sin' has been commited. He must be punished for his behaviour.

Owen, Tosh and Ianto aren't used a lot in the story but they are used effectively when they do appear, especially Ianto, who gets to have a few sweet moments in relation to Jack and help the save the day in a bizzare sense.

What i enjoyed most about this story is the very believable portrayals of peoples' alter egos - the way characters we know (and love perhaps) may have been had subtle things in life been different for them.

a brilliantly read story. Eve manages it very well to portray all TW characters. Prepare to be really unavailable for 2 hours 30 minutes .... ;-)
