Another fabulaous offering from Martin Jarvis, brilliantly capturing the wit of Richmal Crompton through the voice of William

I am 63 years old and still find the William stories as good as when I used to read the books as a youngster.
Martin Jarvis again is fantastic.
Well worth the money for William fans old and new

Had about 18 cd set previously and wanted some new, (ok I know they are old), Just William's as they keep me (the driver) as entertained as the kids. These stories are great you can't fault them -they are timeless - my kids have listened to JW since about 8 and 9 now 11 and 12 and they still love them - well read, fun and entertaining - no sex, bad language, makes journeys that used to be a trial a joy.

The William stories, almost alone among prewar children's fiction, have lasted extremely well, and are fun to read and fun to listen to Martin Jarvis' excellent readings. The Wikipedia article about these audiobooks lists all that are available (some only secondhand) if you want to build up a collection.
