Ally's second book is just as powerful as her first (Beast), but with a lighter quality that I loved. The characters really made it for me, they are funny and daring whilst also being very believable. Not to give away the ending, but the action-packed finale had me gripped.

I read this book in school last year as part of a a book club. It was one of the few books that everyone was impressed by. The storyline is gripping, with the perfect balance of humour and darkness. I read it in one night, it was one of the few truly un-put-downable books I have read. 5 stars!

This follows in the foot steps of beast as another fantastic story. Once again if someone told me the plot i wouldn't think that it could make a believable story. But it does, wonderfully. The characters are great and the plot really does keep you on your toes. I would recommend this book to adults and teenagers alike. Enjoy!
