5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful books
Bought for my daughter and she loves this series. It is about a little girl who realises she lives in a family of fairies having been adopted. Recently bought for a friends daughter as they live overseas and so won't know these books, but I am sure they will also love them. Highyl recommended. Daughter cannot put these down!!

3.0 out of 5 stars A fairy good story
It took off a couple of points because it took Emily Feather so long to us the Enchanted Door. Had expected that like LION WITCH AND WARDROBE, CORALINE or ALICE IN WONDERLAND that she'd pass through into the land of enchantment near the beginning.

It took off a couple of points because it took Emily Feather so long to us the Enchanted Door. Had expected that like LION WITCH AND WARDROBE, CORALINE or ALICE IN WONDERLAND that she'd pass through into the land of enchantment near the beginning.

Emily Feather thought it was odd that her siblings were name after birds and she wasn't. She never knew how magical her family truly was under after she learn the she was adopted in a most unusual way. Her family members and their house aren't the only thing magical. Emily has her own magic and a secret past that even her family doesn't know fully about. With her family by her side and a house full of enchanted doors Emily will discover what makes her so special.

While the book does take a while to get going once it did I was hook and it makes me long for a quick release for book 2.
