The final book in a book series whose creator is trying to turn into TV series starts off with the trail and banishment of Luke, Cleo and Resus to the underlands by the crooked head of G.H.O.U.L name Acrid Belcher. It is there they find aid in the village of Dead End. A town made up of the criminals that G.H.O.U.L had banished. Which is why ex-agent Chillchase wants to get out of Dead End with the kids before he's discovered by those he sent there. To get what there needed to close the gate to the human world and stop their enemies the three heroes are sent by Hex Hatch to China to find Chillchase' friend who retired from G.H.O.UL. When Acrid took over. The three are faced with some classic challenges as well as dealing with a dragon to get its egg shell needed before returning to Scream Street. Its up to the kids to use their new abilities to rescue Samual Skipstone and the humans who had become Sir Otto's prisoners with plans to have Acrid turn them into Movers. When Sir Otto's secret is finally revealed it will take the power of not one but three were wolves to take him on. A big surprise ending to the book which I prefer not give away in a review.
