This is continuing story of the losers trying to find the elusive max. Their search brings them to the exotic country of qatar where they must deal with Islamic Fundmentalists, CIA agents and the Qatar security service all to get just a glimpse of max. Theres also the explanation of how the losers were burned and it also shows little signs of Aisha's ulterior motives that may work against the team. It was a fantastic read filled with action, political intrigue and dark humor. It also increases the myth of Max no longer just potraying him as a mysterious figure but a force of nature who be immortal and satanic in nature. However despite how good this book is it is recommended that you read the previous ones as this is a continous story that only increases character development to those who are familiar to them rather than new readers. This is also true with Max's mission, which though isnt entirely clear in this issue will be even more complicated and confusing.

This series keeps getting better and better. We have reached the halfway point and it is time for the origin story. What really happened on Operation Draw Venom? Well now you know and it proves to be just as complex as everything else in these muddy waters.

Some more artistic talent joins the team and art style gets a little less blocky with some finer lines and more detail being added. The origin story is told as a flashback which has a curious washed-out look and some unusual shading to it.

Another good volume that ensures you definitely want to stay to the end. Thumbs Up!
