This review is from: From Eden to Eternity (Hardcover)
I have watched as many churches I grew up with have turned toward the lure of the world and invited it in to be part of the church. It is heartbreaking to see how many "Christians" do not understand the Gospel itself or the commands of Scripture.

This book lays open the fallacies of some of the recent movements of the Chrurch toward increasing worldliness. It highlights a few books and has credible quotes from the leaders of these movements.

If you are serious about your faith and are worried about what you see in the world and how Christ's Name is being dragged through the mud, I recommend this book. Although, it must be said that what he talks about is not new if you have been paying attention to the changes in the church.

A good book to have on your shelf and also to give to someone who is searching for more but is confused about where to look.

This is one of the best books i have ever read. John MacArthur take us back to the past to see how many heresies started to infiltrate the church and he links them to the heresies that are still in the church today, at the same time taking us back to the Bible to show us what a real Christian looks like and what they should be doing to defend the faith.A strong book, not for the politically correct. I absolutely love it and will treasure it.If you are like me interested in Apology( defending the faith) buy it.If you are a Christian who worries about the church and where it is going, buy it.
