5.0 out of 5 stars Put that mind to good use..., 27 May 2011

This review is from: How To Be Clever (Paperback)
The main reason why this book is short is because it does away with all the filler that most books on memory have padded themselves out with. It gets to the point fairly quickly and doesnt let up for almost 100 pages. I would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in improving their memory or an interest in appearing to be more intelligent than they actually are :) it also taught me how to play chinese chess (of all things)
i have bought a lot of memory books and this one is the best alongside how to pass exams by dominic o'brien.

buy this book and you wont regret it! I am patiently waiting on the sequel where it promises to teach how us to use a slide rule...

5.0 out of 5 stars The cleverest man in the world..., 8 Jun 2012

I have been stalking Ben Pridmore online for some time now posting strange comments on his blog at all hours of the morning in the hope of stressing him out and ruining is amazing mental abilities.

So far I have failed to kill a sufficient number of brain cells in order to have much impact on his brain, but now I found this book I have the ability to also become a genius by knowing the innermost workings of his mind and how really his genius can be broken down into nothing more than a handful of tricks that any trained monkey (and Ben is a very highly trained Monkey) can do.

Reading this book you will be amazed, learn great new things and laugh a lot.
