Best of Moosewood Cookbooks

I own several of their previous cookbooks and I hesitated to buy this one since I feared it would present copycat recipes of earlier published ones.
It actually does offer many old favourites, but I have compared some with the original ones and the recipes have been changed. Various recipes received a real makeover, others have been tweaked just a little in order to make them healthier (less fat, more vegan options).
This is a classic vegetarian cookbook and it includes fish recipes. As a home cook living with omnivores, I always value their recipes because they are easy, quite traditional and universally liked by my carnivore loved ones.
I appreciate that the layout is very clear, the instructions are simple and straightforward and there is a table of contents for each chapter.
So far I have only baked the cowboy cookies - which turned out lovely - and the greek lemony potatoes, that will probably become a staple in our home.
Yet I miss in this book the section about brunch and breakfast which usually showed up in their previous releases.
