An excellent introduction to the intimate complexities and broader contexts of PaR globally, drawing you in as a reader into a very rich and lively discourse about PaR and it's position within 'the academy'. After reading, I feel inspired to view PaR as a valid means for unifying my own experiences of research, practice and teaching. I wish I'd read this before embarking on my doctoral studies, as it very clearly introduces the reader to the very exciting and diverse ways of conceptualising and unifying practice in research terms. A great read for anyone with an Arts practice thinking about developing a research practice.
