Having purchased this recently to study for the 70-411 exam, l would recommend this to anyone. While this is not an exam cram style book, if you wish to learn through excellent explanations and lab tests then this is the book for you.

A lab setup at home or work is recommended to work through this book, along with the free study material from Microsoft to explain more in-depth and you should have no problems passing.

Good luck.

I used one of the Microsoft press books for the 70-410 exam and it was poor in comparison.... definitely stick with the MOAC books if you're looking to self study for your MCSA/E.

Or to undertake exams, is very easy to read and is very helpful especially if you buy the Online Labs.

The cost of this book at £111.99 price is a rip off, the other two books of this series are £32.47, and I have purchased one of those, which at £32 are reasonably priced. There is absolutely no way they are worth £111!!!!!! The book for exam 70-410 is £32.47, the book for exam 70-412 is £32.47, this one for exam 70-411 is £111.99, something is definitely wrong with the pricing here. The £111.99 is supposedly the RRP, what a joke!!

I guess the material must be significantly different from previous versions of Windows Server to justify charging 120 pounds for a 700-page paperback book. Otherwise you could get a hold of older materials for a lot less and then simply learn the bits that are new in Windows 2012 from Microsoft's Technet site or an MCSA upgrade book.

Microsoft 70-41* exams are now R2, this book is pointless. Have requested a return, looking for updated books now.
Thanks Microsoft!
