This is just what I was looking for to get started monitoring my fertility for the purpose of avoiding pregnancy-although the information would be just as useful for women trying to conceive, or just wanting to be more aware of their cycle. The information is clear, scientifically accurate but very readable and easy to put into practise. If natural family planning is something you are looking to start then this is the perfect guide. The anecdotes are a little bit odd but give the book a simple charm.

Great read, but very difficult to learn, as need to know a lot about cervix positioning. Fell pregnant when was trying to not have a baby

One word - amazing
A lot of information presented is similar to that inthe book Taking charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler but it does a fine job of making the information easy to understand and implement

Overall a really really good book

This product came very quickly, and without damage or any issues. The booklet itself is fairly chunky, but contains a plethora of information about charting your cycle and instructions on how to understand and track each part of the chart.
The instructions are pretty clear and once you actually pay attention and read through the book, it does make sense. There are only a couple of things I think could be improved:
Firstly, the written style is a little dated, especially with the use of the typical 'husband'. It was published in 2006, and I am aware that many people tracking their cycles are married with the typical husband-wife scenario. However, I brought this book as a means of tracking my cycle so that I could understand more about myself and also so that in the future I could know when the best days were to conceive through a sperm donor. For same sex couples, this book is a little prejudiced and I feel that the word 'partner' would fit in a lot better, not excluding the LGBT community.
Secondly, most of the booklet is information about HOW to track your cycle, which is very useful, but only if you don't know how. Once you know how and just want to get on with it, there are only a select amount of pages available for tracking, and after those run out (about a years worth) I am assuming you would then have to re-purchase the same book. It would be great if there was a follow up book with JUST the tracking pages so that those who know how to track don't have to waste money buying a set of instructions all over again. Just an idea though.
Overall, this book is clear and easy to understand, with just a few little niggles!
