4.0 out of 5 stars Recommended reading, 4 May 1999

This review is from: Egyptian Cosmology: The ABSOLUTE Harmony: The Animated Universe (Paperback)
"Written for the general public, the book discusses the perception of the Egyptian god, the religion, and the religious beliefs. The author attains that neteroo are not gods, but rather : 'divine principles and functions that operate the universe', as well as representations of different aspects of one unique supreme being. This book also demonstrates how important the universe, creation, solar system (i.e. the Big Bang), science, numbers, and harmony was to the ancient Egyptians."

4.0 out of 5 stars wonderful, but some credit is due, 9 July 1999

This review is from: Egyptian Cosmology: The ABSOLUTE Harmony: The Animated Universe (Paperback)
I think Mr. Gadella is a wonderful author and egyptologist, but his ideas are not as revolutionary as they are made out to be. A book written in the early 80's titled Egyptian Religion put forth a similar theory about the neterw and there is a small but growing religion called kemetic orthodoxy started in the 70's that follows a very parallel theology
