I loved it....but then if i'm honest I love books like this...in so much as it does appear to be well researched, Epperson throught the book makes strong, coherent arguements that challenges the normal conventional understanding of recent and past history. The whole section relating to Darwin did have some religious undertones, but in fairness, it did what all good books should do....it make me think....yes I still prefer the theory of evolutionary process to God and religion, but Darwin is not as water tight for me now....Overall an enjoyable book to read, just have a small bit of salt to hand when you do. On par with None Dare Call it Conspiracy, and for that matter The PaperClip Conspiracy (however the paper clip Con. was much more fact and fiction)!!!

This book is written from a Christian most likely protestant perspective he does have a work sited page but be prepared to see how Evil really works in this world and the way you perceive the reality you live in, maybe changed for ever. If you are a hard lined Atheist some parts of this book you will find ridiculous but i would caution you to leave your belief system outside the back door of your mind; just because you don't believe in God, the Devil, and Lesser Magick I assure you there are real Satanist, Luciferians and Devil worshipers in this world and they do. If you are already into Conspiratorial Views of the world or you question known and proven liers; this book is a must have for your bookshelf and you should click the add to cart buy button now, you will not be disappointed. If you want to remain in your own little happy world do not buy this book. If you suffer from Paranoid Schizophrenia do not buy this book and if you do just remember its not about you its about everyone. If you are in the midst of depression or are in some type of a rut don't buy this book. Basically the same suggestions i would give to someone who is thinking about watching a horror film.

I found the book interesting. Were any of the assertions true? Well, one sentence in the book made me doubt everything the author stated. He claimed that "England" declared war on the United States in 1812 (probably because fighting Napoleon was not challenging enough).
In actual fact - it was the United States that declared war on the United Kingdom. Surely, he should have know that?

I read this book from cover to cover and could hardly put it down. I learned more about U.S. and World History from this text than I did when I was in grade school or college. Ralph Epperson exposes the truth about how the "secret societies" have formed our government and the world in general. This is a book that should be in the libraries of every high school in the United States!! A must read!!

"When things don't change, regardless of who's party is in power, then someone else is in control". This is a key thesis statement made in this outstanding book. I took economics in college and found it summarized here. When you stop and think about "WHAT" and "WHO" influences the world (as it's spelled out in the book) you'll begin to understand the "WHY's" and "HOWS". Want to know what's going to happen to Clinton and Why, read this book. If you understand that those elected to power in this and other countries take their orders from other people at higher levels of power, then you'll begin to understand what's beginning to take shape in this and other countries of the world. If you only read one book (other than the Bible) read this one.

I first read this book as a teenager nearly fifteen years ago and it blew my mind. This book is on target in its content and will completely challenge the media driven accepted view of history that most of us were taught in the government schools geared at indoctrination. Learn what historical figures were actually like, as opposed to the revisionist version(s) of history that we are now subjected to daily. This book is historically more accurate than any I have ever seen.

RE walks the reader through human history from the perspective
of a Christian conspiracy theorist. Though his conclusions may
be radical, skeptics will be hard-pressed to deny that his facts
are solid. He has collected an expansive amateur study of
western history which suggests the influence of "unseen" forces
in mankind's path to globalism. If only as a method to relearn
historical events from a different perspective, I recommend
this book to anyone who has suspected that those in power, despite
the rhetoric, have always had self-serving and sinister intentions.
In many ways a precursor to Jack Flannel's multi volume historical
record, RE's Unseen Hand remians a fine review of western history in
a useful and engaging format. Check it out!

Just started to read and it seems to me this is a must for anybody to be aware of...it is only when you know all the numbers in the equation that things start to fall in place!

I bought this book out of curiosity and on the strength of the reviews here - and, whilst a mildly interesting book, I'm surprised that no reviews here comment on some significant issues with the authors standpoint, ie it's written from a very American/Christian centric viewpoint - with some startling views on European culture and a particularly ridiculous view on evolution and Darwinism. I could go on, but the views expressed in the book have not dated well, and the laughable explanation that Led Zeppelin and The Beatles lyrics can somehow be decomposed to represent a Satanist and drug taking conspiracy were the final nail for me. So be careful - if you're looking for a facts based explanation of the Bilderbergers et al, look elsewhere - this is essentially American Right Wing Christian Fundamentalism at its finest.
