Art is all about personal preference and resonance. So for me the stars were Angelique Houtkamp and Christopher Conn Askew as the old style references chimed with my aesthetic. Alex Binnie, Mike Giant offer other more starker perspectives whilst Dr. LArka, Scott Cambell, Shawn Barber and Thomas Hooper take another stance.

Being a diletante in this field rather than claiming an type of expertise, I preferred the first two because they reeked of the past, others however may wish to embrace a more "modern" taste. Within the book you have a variety of views on offer. At least each offers something much more than Mum and Dad, along with child births and family deaths.

A tattoo, and especially a good one, should be for life.

I bought this for my daughter who is a tattoo apprentice to add to her reference collection and she really liked it. Thank you.
