These books are fantastic value for money as the individual patterns are £4 in other stores. The wool in the same make is incredibly expensive but it knits very well in normal 4ply. It is worth going on the Millamia website as you can view the individual patterns there- they are all really stylish.

Lots of modern patterns for boys and girls, sizes from birth to 4-5 years, depending on the pattern. Colourful designs, well written, clear photographs and instructions. The patterns are knit in soft merino wool, tension 25 sts & 34 rows to 10cm using 3.25 mm needles mostly, although some patterns are knit with double threads. I have used alternative yarn successfully. Great book.

Got this book from my local yarn shop in Twickenham (MrsMoon) and I can't recommend it highly enough. The colours are fantastic - so bright and fun !!! It's so unusual to get high-end bright colours that are not acrylic. Buy it ! But be warned it's like candy - you can't stop once you get going

A few nice patterns, but overall a little disappointing. Really glad I didn't pay full price.
