This review is from: Two Gulls and a Girl - A Study of a Seagull Colony by a 10 Year Old Naturalist (Paperback)
This is an amazing book by an amazing girl. I bought the book for my mother so i could read it! I read extracts from the family website, but the book is even better. Please, please buy this book, As Richard Williamson said in his write up in the Chichester Observer. This girl is the next Gerald Durrell or even better and that is from Richard who knows these things..... Buy the book

Great read,
This review is from: Two Gulls and a Girl - A Study of a Seagull Colony by a 10 Year Old Naturalist (Paperback)
A fascinating account by an incredibly enthusiastic and observant young naturalist. Roxanne's book shows us all that young kids can and do spend their time constructively - and what patience and simple observation leads to.Worth buying just to see the amazing photos of the gull Romulina landing on Roxanne's head and eating from her hand, but also for the day-by-day account of how it all came about. Every time I see a gull from now on, I'll be wondering if it's either of the two gulls sharing Roxanne's story. |
