3.0 out of 5 stars Bittersweet
I enjoyed these stories - the variety and description are to be admired. Only I was slightly uncomfortable with the constant references to skin colour and typical stereotyping, and I agree with other reviewees (is that a word?)about the moral undertones - this author is clearly a strong character, which is to be admired of course, but I found it not for me. That said,...

I really liked the realistic way Lexy describes her scenarios and characters. I was a little put off by the 'moral' she included at the end of Another Woman. My experience of such things is obviously very different!! It did make me reluctant to continue and I was concerned that each story would be finished with a similar 'moral'

By far the best story I have read today! I thought your story captured the unknown reason for a woman's attraction to a man very well. I cannot wait to read more! Thank-you for this story. I also enjoyed and reccommend Sexy Romantic Erotic Stories

Reading about someone's fantasies can work for some people but it did nothing for me, but that does not mean it would not work for someone else that is why I have given it three stars, maybe I am hard to please.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bedtime Erotica, 17 Nov 2012

Pretty steamy set of stories. I liked the variety as well. A little something for everyone. :)

Side: the little warnings at the end of the chapters were a little out of place I thought.

This book is acceptable bedtime reading not very good so it may help you go to sleep because it follows well known plots which are rather boring

I found this laboured and hardly erotic except in a very obvious fashion. I like a lot more story and a bit more character building. I do not like to be negative but there was little positive in this reading experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars First book of erotica I've enjoyed, 4 Oct 2012
This review is from: Bedtime Erotica (Kindle Edition)
I've made a few forays into the world of erotic fiction over the years, and I have to say this is the first book I've been able to enjoy wholeheartedly. In the 90s I bought my first collection, a massive tome that I thought would give me many hours of enjoyment. I had to give up after forcing myself to read about a quarter of them. The very first story featured bestiality, and it was all downhill from there. Sorry, but that's not my idea of a turn-on.

A few years ago I tried again, opting for Anais Nin's Delta of Venus, considered a classic of erotica. Once again I could not finish the book. Child rape? Necrophilia? It scares me that people consider these stories erotic. I pretty much gave up on the genre at that point.

Then I stumbled on to this collection and realized this is what I had been looking for all along--entertaining stories about lustful people who weren't shy about giving in to their various appetites. I enjoyed all the stories, and Oxford Blue remains my all-time favorite. I just purchased the follow up, Bedtime Erotica for Freaks (Like Me) and I'm looking forward to meeting these characters from the freaky side of the aisle.
