When the book arrived it was much slimmer than I imagined, but well worth every penny. I mainly bought it for Transfers as they're not covered in Paul Mendelson's books. Several people in our bridge club have bought it and we're all very impressed. Each page covers a given hand with a brief explanation of why you bid what you bid, then the game is played. Well worth buying.

Another excellent book form Andrew. The development was very good as usual and has added to my understanding of bidding

Clear and cogent explanations of these essential conventions and a good supplement to my lessons at a local bridge club. It's not really feasible to play bridge well without using Stayman and Transfers are very useful if you can get the mechanics right. Robson makes this easier

Always well described and clearly set out.
A good summery of the systems.
Andrew never disappoints when explaining bridge topics. He's the new Terence Reece of bridge writers.

Another absolutely excellent book in his series. However the binding manufacture is still very poor, the pages becoming loose detracting from its content. The whole series provide a great back-ground to learning Bridge though
