I really enjoyed this book; it's a very easy and entertaining read and very funny. I initially borrowed a copy and since having to give it back I miss being able to dip in and out of it, so I've now bought my own!

Good if you're looking for a present for nautical types - I gave a copy to some relatives who are keen sailors and they thought it was hilarious. But it's really good light reading whether you are a sailor or not.

this book which could have been bordering on humerous, seems to have been infected with petty spiteful comments about half the people mentioned,( despite disguise,s of pseudonyms..) all of which are irrelevant to his story and portray a mean minded author.
