Linux's Hardware configuration is differcult subject at times, specially when you start out with a CD-Rom few pages A4 containing different Topic that only covers the basics. When comes to talking manufacturers' of Linux open source, life takes on different meaning!
It is simple but you make it "complicated" remember Microsoft hardware is "One Fix Kernel" many programmes for 32bit or 64bit desktops and servers.
Linux's Hardware is many Kernels versions of the same hardware version to maintain balance of the rest of open source operating system.
