5.0 out of 5 stars The must-have book for all chess variant enthousiasts!, 26 Oct. 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Encyclopedia of Chess Variants (Hardcover)
Pritchard's Encyclopedia of Chess Variants (or, for insiders, the `ECV') is a `must-have' for everyone that is interested in chess variants: board games related to chess, but not chess itself. In this book, Pritchard describes hundreds of such games, giving these in alphabetical order, describing the rules in sufficient detail to play the games, with historical remarks, photo's, etc.
