An excellent addition to any collection of cookery writing. The recipes are easy to follow without being patronising! Also they don't use technical jargon ie. make a roux! Yeah OK so tell me how! All is explained clearly. Most of the recipes can be made with everyday ingredients from a fairly well-stocked larder cupboard so no need to go out trawling the world for exotic,...

I do like Australian Women's Weekly cookbooks.
This one is ok the book has chicken,lamb,beef and pork recipes and the pictures are very good.

An excellent addition to any collection of cookery writing. The recipes are easy to follow without being patronising! Also they don't use technical jargon ie. make a roux! Yeah OK so tell me how! All is explained clearly. Most of the recipes can be made with everyday ingredients from a fairly well-stocked larder cupboard so no need to go out trawling the world for exotic, not to mention expensive ingredients that you will only use once in a blue moon. Move over Gary Rhodes! I've already tried at least 6 of the recipes and am yet to be disappointed. Never has mince seemed so versatile. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
