5.0 out of 5 stars I'm in Heaven!, 31 Aug 2001

This review is from: The Charlies Angels' Casebook (Paperback)
From the moment this book arrived through the post, I found myself totally absorbed, and within the week had read its entire contents. Apart from this book being very well written by two authors who know their "Stuff",it also has plenty of information and pictures from both infront of the camera and from behind the scenes. The book gives you an insight into each Actress that has graced our screens as an Angel, not only their professional careers but also the book touches on their private lives, aswell as how they became cast, and also what other acting work they have done since. Other contents includes fairly detailed guides to the episodes, swimwear and merchandise. It is essential reading for any one who loves "Charlie's Angels" the series, but this book would also appeal to anyone interested in reading about a piece of Television History.

What can i say ? ive loved Charlies angels since it first ever showed in 1976,i was such a fan off all the angels , this book just taked you back to those days when i worshiped what these girls managed to pull off with so little effort. It takes you from the very first idea it came into someones head to make a tv show about three women who could do anything, all through the Farrah craze , how they got on , and some of them diddnt , i was shocked at that !all about there personalitys , everyhting i was in heaven reading this book , it just gives you so much information being a fan i could,nt put it down ,after i read the book i sent Jack an Email , he wrote the book with his partner , i had to tell him how much i loved this book , but know im telling him again ,and you fans out there , if you liked or Loved like me Charlies angels you must have this book its an essential book to read thanks for writeing it and makeing me a happy man cheers!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Pruely and simply - brilliant", 22 April 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Charlies Angels' Casebook (Paperback)
Being a huge fan of charlie's angel's I was naturally attracted to this book as it's cover contains not only the three original angel's but the best angel's to have ever graced the series. I couldn't put it down until I'd read the entire thing - this book is full of facts, pictures, and behind the scenes antics of all the angel's and is an absolute "must" for serious Charlie's Angel's fans. There is a full insight into what the girls were like on the set, what they are doing now and all about their personal lives and what they think about the impact of the show. There is even a full episode guide, outlining each episode in all five series which is Excellent! For me, the best thing about this book is that it's 100% official so what you're reading is true and not simply patched together from many unreliable sources, most of which are untrue. It's plain that Jack Condon and David Hofstede clearly have first hand facts and know what they're talking about. This book screams class - The one and only Jaclyn Smith wrote the foreword, need I say more? For any fan who doesn't own this book "You're insane, buy it now" Best book I have ever read! I await the next one Jack!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Angels!, 17 Dec 2006

I bought this book some time ago but have read it several times since - couldn't stop reading it! Full of interesting and newsworthy facts - and photos included too. A real good buy on one of the most successful TV cop series ever. Without "Charlie's Angels" there wouldn't have been "Cagney & Lacey" - another great series! "Charlie's Angels" is a classic and will always be. This publication is a 'must buy' for all fans.

This book is just fabulous! It gives a full guide to the world of the angels, which includes chapters on every angel, life after the show and a merchandise and swimsuit gallery. It also has a fantastically detailed guide of every episode ever aired.
To top it off there is a great picture gallery in the middle of the book. If you like Charlie's Angels, this is the book for you!
