This review is from: London County Council Bomb Damage Maps 1939-45 (Hardcover)
This is the book for understanding how the topography of London was changed by the Second World War. Only published in 2005 it is now close to impossible to find a copy - and you will pay a premium for it. The book is large A3 format and consists of scans of OS maps coloured in at the time by the London County Council showing the levels of destruction in areas. Circles show V1 and V2 strikes. If you need these individual maps then the London Metropolitan Archives scan them for you for a charge. If like me you constantly refer to them then the premium is still worth it. By all accounts this book is unlikely to be published again.
