4.0 out of 5 stars Illustrating Nazi Propaganda, 3 Jan 2012
This review is from: State of Deception: The Power of Nazi Propaganda (Hardcover)
The Nazis didnt invent propaganda but they refined it to a fine art.So what is displayed here are photos and posters from the begining of the Nazi era to the end of World War 2.When you see these posters in museums the images are always striking. However there is rarely a translation of the words. This book does have a translation for them so it is possible to undeerstand exactly the message that they were trying to get over at the time.
The fact that this is such a large book means that you are not likely to be able to carry it about.I found it by chance in the local library.Given the size and the price i do not think that i would be tempted to buy it.,however it is definately worth reading as an insight into the evil thought processes of the Nazis.
