George Dehn and Steven Guth have done a great job on this new and much more complete translation of the Abramelin work. The magical squares are complete and in the right order for the first time and the text is clear and easy to read. There is also a fourth chapter. This version is much better than the S.L.Mathers one.In the new translation the operation take 18 months not 6 as in the Mathers version.

The Abramelin operation is a real and genuine method for absolute self transformation being the true knowledge and conversation of your holy guardian Angel. The ritual is very powerful and to be done with absolute sincerity,Do not start it unless you can complete the sacred work.

If you are a Magician or interested in the occult you should have this Brilliant book it will fill you with wonder, treat the work with respect and it will open unto you.

A superb new translation of a key text that has been so influential in western occultism. The author goes back to a different original manuscript - the German ones. The Mathers version was working from a French version copied from the German ones this author uses. This book also includes and extra book of mixed qaballa spells which the Mathers version omits. These spells are based mainly on excerpts from the Torah. In addition many of the magical squares have been corrected/updated. The great suspicion about this book is that owning it can wreak havoc as the magical squares get loose from the book. Very cleverly the author presents the names for each squares in such a way that the book only contains a few squares, which I thought was a nice touch.

The appendices are superb as well, the author documents his trip to Egypt to try and track down the Hermitage of Abramelin and finds some good evidence for the existance of the site. He also demonstrates how the list of spirts in Bardons Practice of Magical Evocation were derived from the list of Abramelin demons.

I highly recommend this text to anyone interested in Western Occultism and the Abramelin operation.

Don't read this book, follow God (The bible). Evil is real and dangerous.

Read books 1-3 but no further. An excellent text which a firm moral grounding and core. The advise within this text is as important as knowledge within, if not more so.
