Filled with pictures of the 4-string jumpin' flea, this book is graphically gorgeous. Lots of historical facts about the birth of the ukulele, its most important musicians and manufacturers.
I would've liked more technical details about the construction of the instruments, and a critical approach to the musicians, rather than merely list them. However, the enthusiasm...

This book is complete with pictures, history and many other incredible wonders of the ukulele world.

Filled with pictures of the 4-string jumpin' flea, this book is graphically gorgeous. Lots of historical facts about the birth of the ukulele, its most important musicians and manufacturers.
I would've liked more technical details about the construction of the instruments, and a critical approach to the musicians, rather than merely list them. However, the enthusiasm of the author is contagious and - once again - the pictures alone are worth the price.
