This review is from: The Harem Conspiracy: The Murder of Ramesses III (Paperback)
A scholarly book which unfortunately is not up to date with latest research which suggests that Ramesses III died as the result of a cut throat rather than magic, snake bite, or poisoning. The only full book on the subject and a must for an Egyptian Studies library. Attempts to contact the author via email at PennState University failed. Her husband wrote an introduction which was a masterly overview of the period. Almost worth buying for that - he's a professor at PennState still, I think. Also see the second book in the Archives of Kadesh trilogy (to be published this year by Rainbow Valley Books) which gives a fictional version of the latest research.
