If your Irish, this book will have you rolling around the floor in stitches in complete recognition of every single Irish slang phrase you are ever likely to have used or heard in your daily routines from the time you were a nipper. If you are not Irish, it may not make much sense but the beauty of this book is that it reads like a dictionary so you are completely at one with the Irish slang vocabulary by the time you finish this read (and will actually understand what Colin Farrell is talking about now). I would actually recommend this book be filed under Travel Guides for Ireland - a must buy for absolutely everyone who wants a good ol' laugh and a bit of an education in reality in Ireland

Excellently hilarious slang dictionary for various gifting opportunities.

Be warned: absolutely filthy!

Also, very Dublin-centric. Dubliners do speak like this - and very funny they are, too - but the (O)Irish from various other parts of the island don't. If that's no problem, no problem!

This is a great little book on how the Irish really speak. No shamrocks or leprecans this book will have you in stitches. Great gift to give someone who's about to visit Ireland. It's written like a dictionary, but doesn't read like one.
