2.0 out of 5 stars too expensive: a rip-off, 20 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Christine de Pizan's Letter of Othea to Hector (Library of Medieval Women) (Paperback)
I feel 14.99 is extortionate for the size of the volume. The test itself is without fault: an accurate and understandable translation of Christine de Pizan's medieval French masterpiece. What I object to is the price which is completely disproportionate to the size of the book (less than 1cm in width), and the price in comparison to similar books. As this was the only version available on Amazon (and frustratingly, the cheapest!) I had to settle and pay the 14.99, but if you can get a cheaper copy elsewhere, do so, because this edition is not worth the money at all. It is a rip-off.
