5.0 out of 5 stars A great continuation of the Lost Fleet story
I really enjoyed the first Lost Fleet book, Dauntless, and thought the series had a lot to offer with the premise that was set up. I jumped straight into Fearless wondering whether it would be more of the same, or whether Jack Campbell would give further reason to continue reading about the journey to Alliance space.

Fearless continues straight after the events...

3.0 out of 5 stars Strangely compelling but not really good sci-fi
You've been stranded in space, locked up and kept in stasis in a rescue pod. Then there's a fleet, picks you up, welcomes you on board as a legendary hero. Obviously someone didn't keep his mouth shut when they left you to die in defense of their retreat... But had they known you would have survived, they might not have mythologized you quite so much. Anyway... All...

4.0 out of 5 stars The saga......., 24 May 2015

.....continues. Again huge set piece space battles are at the fore, once again invoking the drama of E.E. Doc Smith, but with an eye for military detail he couldn't match. Also there is time for better character development than before. Looking forward to the next episode.

4.0 out of 5 stars Black Jack at it again, 13 Jan. 2014

Easy reading, gripping story. All the elements of a good narrative. The fleet has some errant sheep to take care of, on their way back to the alliance. Will Jack Geary keep control? And what about the evidence of an alien race, that highly little problem...

5.0 out of 5 stars Epic!, 11 Sept. 2011

This review is from: The Lost Fleet: Fearless (Book 2) (Lost Fleet 2) (Paperback)
With the second in the series, Campbell fails to disappoint. The characters, particularly Geary & Rionne, develop nicely. This is definitely a must read, especially if you've read the first book... and if you haven't, well get on that right now!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good 2nd book, 3 Aug. 2011

If you liked the first, the second is in the same vain, so you won't be dissapointed.

However, the writing style remains simple, it is not a literary great, though if your read the first you know how it is.

Good series so far.

I was looking for new authors and this sounded good, but it was disappointing.
I found it quite contrived and felt that the three books in the Trilogy could easily have made one decent sized volume.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Lost Fleet: Fearless, 14 Jan. 2014

As existing intrigues continue and personnel relationships develop, the Saga maintains a good pace. The military issues are well portrayed pointing the reader inexorably to the next volume. Can`t wait!!

Could not put these books down throughout the series, Jack Cambell has created a world of the future which is believable, incorporating politics and relationships within a good gripping yarn

This is the second book in the series, I have now read all 6 in the series as the stories although sometimes a bit preditable, are gripping and kept me busy whilst I was on holiday!
