4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but a slight let down on the first, 10 Mar. 2014

I still loved this book but was a bit disappointed as the first book was SO good. However, I would still fully recommend buying it, would have been five stars if I was able to give the first one six.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the first, 4 Dec. 2013

This is the sequel to a very fine first novel, I think it was overly long, and did'nt have the action or motivation in the characters to thrill like the first. The continuation of the war, but very little in the way of action. It plods rather than speeds along. The ending leaves an opening for yet another book which may or may not happen. Enjoyable enough but not to the same standard as the first.

5.0 out of 5 stars No super heroes here, 8 Aug. 2014

Deserves five stars Wes, original notion, well executed and without rose tinted spectacles. No super heroes here, everyone is fallible and bleeds. Enough action and thought to keep me going, so when are the rest coming out?

This review is from: The Deaths of Tao (Lives of Tao) (Paperback)
Lighthearted, funny, doesn't take itself too seriously but got me completely hooked. A fantastic follow up to the Lives of Tao (which you need to read first. Real quality sci-fi/fantasy
