First of all let me point out this manual only covers the following engine sizes:
Petrol: 2.0 litre (1998cc)
Diesel: 1.8 litre (1753cc) and 2.0 litre (1998cc).

This means it does not cover 1.6, 2.3 or 2.5 litre petrol engines and the 2.2 litre diesel engine. It also does not cover the specific differences in the 2.0 litre FFV (flexfuel) or 'Ecoboost' versions.

With that out of the way, Haynes seem to have become very lazy where this manual is concerned, if you have a lot of past experience with various Haynes manuals this will no doubt end up being a disappointment. Aside from the previously stated omissions, diagram quality suffers a lot here with only black and white and the techniques employed in actually depicting the hardware is arguably subpar. That said, it is not impossible to read. If you have anything between your ears you can see what is going on on the page. This is still by far the best manual out there for service and repair, it just doesn't feel like classic Haynes anymore.

I have not purchased a Haynes manual for a few years and was very disappointed with the this current version,
greyed photos making identification difficult wereas they use to have added drawings showing difficult locations.
Various sections had photos for other sections inserted also these were not identified (i.e. see photo) making it extremely difficult to follow.
The manual seems to be just thrown together, although must admit it does contain some usefull information it could be a lot better.
have found some mistakes i.e. looking for a blown fuse, fuse listing shows F19 but looking at wiring diagram shows F7, trying to identify some photos is almost impossible.

Have bought one of these books with every car, but had to wait a while for this one to come into print. Paper quality is going downhill fast as is the quality of the info. My 1.6 L deisel isn't covered or even mentioned which is disappointing. Delivery was on time so cannot fault agent - just a pity the books are slipping as they have previously been a godsend.

After consulting the manual for 2 jobs I needed to do I found the manual lacking detail.Pictures are of low quality and generally I would not be too confident in this manual when it comes to tackling a DIY job.I ended up doing a job without the help of Haynes as their instructions were vague and difficult to understand.I wouldn't recommend this manual, but Haynes have been good for me in the past for other car models I've had, just not so far with this.Maybe in the future this will be worth it and will pay for itself.

A little disappointed in Haynes - no issue with the supplier. This seems more of a mechanics / body trim manual than needed for electrical Investigations. Very poor in the electrical schematics offered - NO Keyless Vehicle diagram info - which was the sole reason I bought this!!!! Haynes - please consider that there is a range of Joe Public competency out there and upper limit need all the info not just snippets please. I bought Haynes trusting the brand and was disappointed by the level of detail here.

The book contains a lot of useful information as it should, however it does not give as comprehensive assistance as previous Mondeo books have. It appears to be disjointed in some of the work sequences.

Its Haynes there is nothing to say about the manual itself as you'd expect off Haynes good illustrations and explanations from changing light bulb to full engine strip down... Only gripe I have is quality of the paper, older manuals are thick ( full of oil now ) but still legible, only used this twice and the words are fading away needs to be used with caution
