4.0 out of 5 stars Rather interesting and well put together, 22 Jan. 2012
This review is from: Leadership Rules: 50 Timeless Lessons for Leaders (Paperback)
Jo Owen adopts a tangential approach to discuss leadership in this book: namely, he refers the reader to exotic non-western customs of tribes in the remotest parts of the world, and reports on their practice of leadership.

In so doing, Owen deals with the various different aspects of leadership, as can be seen from the table of contents.

There are many blank or almost blank pages with fancy drawings which might seem really foolish, and the text is widely printed and spaced, so that the book reads well and rather quickly, with plenty of space to jot down notes and thoughts.

Might be worth saying that Owen has a suspicious take on technology, therefore his conception of leadership does not through the use of any cutting edge devices or services - as it says on the cover, the book is about 'timeless lessons'.
