This review is from: The Salvation Army, Handbook of Doctrine (Hardcover)
A good book to read, and keep on the shelf for reference, for Salvation Army adherents and soldiers. Also good for anyone interested in the official Salvation Army church doctrine. However, the book is not a dry doctrine book, but contains much interesting historical background on the bible, early church beliefs, and people from the first centuries. I find this 2010 edition much more detailed and specific than the older 1998 edition. Much more helpful, and totally worth buying.

This review is from: The Salvation Army, Handbook of Doctrine (Hardcover)
As the person helping people learn what the Salvation Army church believes this is invaluable.I managed it in smallish chunks, it is worth the read. Making notes from it is useful for later reference.
