This review is from: Theology of the Body Explained A Commentary on John Paul II's "Gospel of the Body" (Paperback)
Pope John Paul II's teaching on this topic is remarkable. Unfortunately, his series of talks on the topic is almost unreadable, (unless, presumably, you have degrees in theology, anthropology and philosophy).

In contrast, Christopher West provides an in-depth analysis, which is really easy to understand, but compellingly deep.

A wonderful book: you simply must read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars great theology, 16 Nov 2010
This review is from: Theology of the Body Explained A Commentary on John Paul II's "Gospel of the Body" (Paperback)
This explanation helps to understand the important messages John Paul II gave regarding life and sexuality. By going back the Genesis John Paul II shows the original plan in which God has made human kind and explains the redemptive work of Christ, that enables us to live according to that original state of being. To love and respect each human being purely without lustful motives. Christopher West manages well to translate this beautiful message to non theologians.
