4.0 out of 5 stars useful as a reference, 16 Aug. 2005

I bought this book purely for my own knowledge purposes, as I have an interest in anything to do with building. This book is well laid out and explains how to make the best use of it. It has flowcharts for recognition and identification purposes. Different sections are colour coded for ease of reference and all pictures have a marked scale, it also has a section at the back showing typical sizes of insects and the holes they produce. Overall a great little book, the only let down being the price, I paid £20 for it and feel it isn't really worth any more than £13-£14 unless you are in the business and using it on a day to day basis.
