I was overwhelmed and blushing heavily after browsing with intensity this sexy book.
David Gandy gets my vote in 2 beautiful pages (sadly in underwear, not nudes) but there are plenty more winning portraits there.
The full frontal nudity in some is welcome but not for the shy. There is a definite sense of intimacy between the men and the photographer, else they would not manage to look so relaxed and natural in their birthday suits.
For those who like myself admire Herb RITTS' and Weber's work, this beautifully presented large book will not disappoint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant homoerotic art., 10 Feb 2011
This review is from: Dolce & Gabbana Uomini (Hardcover)
This is a stunning book. For a start, although it is expensive, you get a lot for your money. The photographs, mostly in black and white, are not pornographic but they are wonderfully erotic. There is not a huge amount of nudity but the suggestion of sex to come is even more exciting. There is a variety of models, all of them beautiful, all apparently at ease in front of the lens and conveying both attraction and intimacy. The standard of photography is exceptional. Leave this book on your coffee table and your straight male friends could not possibly be offended. They might, though, be disturbed.

This book is a definite page turner. Page after page of beautifully photographed and lit specimens of the male form. It celebrates the strength and manliness that the nude man can have. I purchased it for the pictures of David Gandy but although there are only two shots there are plenty more Adonis' to fall for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classy, stylish and natural B&W male photography, 19 April 2011

Beautiful edition with mainly black and white "classic school" photography of the male form, printed in rather dark warm tones. The models are photographed in very simple, down to earth surroundings, often a garden or a natural setting, or in front of somewhat rundown rough walls or inside premises that look like "the average flat next door". Whether in Dolce & Gabbana underwear or totally nude, it's always classy, stylish and natural, never vulgar. The poses are sculptural, classic and sexy, sometimes reminding of thirties art photography. Mariano Vivanco's mastery of the chiaroscuro is stunning.
