2.0 out of 5 stars Not the comprehensive monograph it appears to be
This is a beautiful book but it is by no means a comprehensive account of Lautner's work. Some critical projects are missing which is very disappointing. It is also a bit light on colour photographs.

Escher was editor of Lautner's own monograph from 1994 and has been taking care of the John Lautner archives for decades. One cannot find more dedicated writers than these three who made a book with the love and care that the subject deserves. Knowing Lautner's work this book (and the exhibition) turned out to be a goldmine for never published material and grants for hours and hours of study material. Just buy it and enjoy.
