I don't often give 5 star reviews but this book totally deserves it, I absolutely loved it! Grayson Finley is my kind of hero, he doesn't dress like your typical regency gentleman, he doesn't care what 'society' thinks of him, he's a bad boy, loveable rogue, gorgeous and a pirate! He has just inherited the title 'Viscount Stoke' and has moved to London with his 12 year old daughter to give her a stable life.
He moves next door to Lady Alexandra Alistair, a young widow who was shamed in society by her cheating husband who died falling down his mistresses stairs. She is compiling a list of potential husbands and it's whilst considering adding Grayson to the list one night that she hears Grayson being attacked next door and runs to help, her life will never be the same.
What follows is a gripping, fun, sexy regency romp. The villain, pirate hunter Captain James Ardmore, is fabulous and is the perfect nemesis for Grayson. All of the characters are well written and the story keeps a good pace and it never gets boring. Grayson and Alexandra are perfect for each other and their antics in the bedroom are hot!
This book has it all, plenty of action, plenty of sex and lots of fun and I recommend anyone who enjoys historical romance to buy it. It's a bargain at only 77p and is a full length novel, great value for money. It's certainly a book I will read again and I can't wait to start The Pirate Hunters Lady, the next in the series, featuring the fabulous Captain James Ardmore as the hero.
